This fossil stone was found in Sylamore Creek located in the beautiful Ozark National Forest near Blanchard Spring Caverns.
As I enjoy working with natural stones and gemstones, my excursions to different parts of the country allow me to find beautiful one of a kind pieces like this fossil stone.
The Ozarks have some of the most beautiful rivers, caverns and forests. Crystal clear water, wild dogwoods & red buds bloom in the spring while wild wisteria hangs from the trees. It is a wonderland of natural and sometimes mystic beauty.
This fossil stone is just one example of the unique natural treasures found in this area and I am happy to be able to share it with you.
